CareFirstNY is proud to introduce Rooted Together: A Child Loss Support Group, a welcoming space for parents and caregivers in the Southern Tier who are grieving the loss of a child of any age, due to illness or unexpected accident. This support group will meet in-person on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at our Painted Post location. Led by licensed clinicians, each session offers strategies, activities, and guidance to help participants navigate the challenges of grief and find support within the community. Session Facilitators: - Heather Morey, LCSW, CCTP, CTMH CareFirstNY Clinical Therapist & Coordinator - Ric Miller, LMSW, CGP CareFirstNY Grief Support Coordinator Rooted Together is designed as a drop-in group—participants are welcome to attend whenever they feel the need for support, without any commitment to a set number of sessions.
